This collection is about exploring the energy of positive emotions expressed in art. My intention is to
affect the affect the viewer's emotions with positivity and to incur a sense of relaxed well-being that may
eventually translate to feelings of personal empowerment. The positive energy encompassed within these works
is real and stems from connections with the natural energies of the earth throuqh the programming of quartz crystals.
These crystals are the same thing that are used in the electronic devices you use daily to transmute information
that helps them work like they're supposed to. And, ironically, they're also part of what we humans are made of.
ENERGY
That said, I hope that you feel uplifted every time you view these works and that you not only carry
on that positivity throughout the rest of your day, but that you also try to pass it on daily to those
who are part of your circle of influence, as well as to new people you meet along the way.
The reason quartz crystals are used in electronics is they're efficient absorbers and transmuters
of energy, and they work because their crystalline structure absorbs, conserves, focuses
and emits it, especially in the electromagnetic waveband. At the heart of the crystal is the atom
and its component parts, which is dynamic and consists of particles rotating around a center in
constant motion while vibrating at a certain frequency. This is what gives crystals their energy
and, this energy, when programmed correctly, can also affect human beings with positivity.
So, I'm not only being affected by this energy while creating these works with my chosen
medium...the computer. But, by programming raw pieces of quartz and other crystals to also
emit the positivity I'm expressing within the brush strokes, the shapes and forms and even the
colors and composition I'm working with, they're assisting my efforts to help change the
overall spirit of negativity prevalent in our world today to positivity. So, in effect, I'm
creating positive oriented works of art about energy, with positively programmed energy.

An interesting conundrum here is that according to quantum physics, energy can never be
created or destroyed...it just is. And, when something changes, affects and/or interrupts the source
of its wavelength, it simply evolves into another form of the same thing. So, let's say that none of these works
in this collection have ever been output, but remain as 1s and 0s that, until powered up with energy (electricity),
are simply static pieces of plastic without context. So, what happens to the art that has been created with these
1s and 0s when the source of its wavelength frequency gets interrupted, say by simply turning off the computer?
Does that art evolve into something else and if so, what? Or, was it even real in the first place, i.e., the only
way to prove that is, is to have it printed out onto a material substrate. And, you have the unique opportunity
to prove that these pieces are indeed real by doing just that....and then hanging them on your walls.
Also, unlike traditional paintings, the digital format allows me to offer originals in various sizes.

If you find yourself inextricably drawn to these works it’s because they’ve been created
using not only the energy of the earth through positively programmed quartz crystals, but
also through the divine science of sacred geometry which, come to find out, is what creates
matter. Sacred Geometry is a combination of ancient wisdom and mathematics and serves
as a bridge between our physical existence and the unseen dimensions of energy and
consciousness. It's where the material converges with the spiritual, where math meets
the mysticism of ancient wisdom, except its been lost along the way somehow.
After centuries of observation and research, though, scientists have discovered that the
intelligence that created the universe aka God, Allah, The Source, The Force, Yaweh, The
Anunnaki or whatever name you give it, uses geometry to define the balanced shape and
form of matter. If you don’t believe me, simply look at the natural shapes that surround us, such
as the patterned symmetry of snowflakes, pine cones, sunflowers, palm fronds and artichokes
or the repeating spiral patterns of conch shells, ram’s horns, tornados and hurricanes, flowers
and even water as it spirals down a drain. This pattern is even represented in the shape of
our own Milky Way Galaxy as well as within the intricate patterns of our own DNA and it
reveals an imbedded code of existence woven into the fabric of the entire universe.
Geometry is the language of creation. It’s the fundamental foundation of everything that exists in
the universe, the universal force that guides information into materializing into the what and how of
what we see, while also acting as the scaffolding for how these universal forms are built. It’s the harmony,
proportion and balance of materiality and I’ve been able to use it inadvertently (I haven’t been aware of it
until recently, because it always came naturally) to create my paintings within what’s called the Golden Ratio
and/or PHI. The Golden Ratio is a mathematical constant in the universe known for it aesthetics (beauty) and
harmonic (balanced) properties and is also known in art as “composition”. I’m sure you’ve heard of good
and bad composition when looking at art and especially photography haven’t you? Well, this is how it’s
created and also why we respond to its visual elements positively (good) or negatively (bad) because
it’s inherent in our own physical composition through our DNA. We either connect to what we’re
seeing positively or we don’t, depending upon the success of the grouping of these elements.
That said, most artist have to learn how to produce good, balanced composition, but some of us
are born with it, like myself. When I started out in photography, fortunately, I was blessed with a
natural sense of composition and therefore, only had to learn how to control light and the technicality
of using the camera, as well as study some art, to capture how to put what I saw in my minds eye
down on film. In fact, when I was young and still experimenting with psychedelics, once when I was
hallucinating on psilocybin (magic mushrooms) the sky turned into a repeating pattern of converging
parallel lines that moved up and down when I moved my head. Sort of like the Matrix, I guess, though
I really think I was seeing elements Sacred Geometry and why to this day a picture that's hanging
crooked on the wall bothers the hell out of me and I HAVE to fix it. Even if it's at your house.
Anyway, fortunately this natural sense of composition has also carried over to my paintings,
through I now use digital brushes to create the shapes, forms and harmony that to me illustrates
the expression of the energy of positivity I’m trying to project, and all of this combined is the reason
these paintings appeal to you. They work for you because, even though they’re abstracts,
they’re harmonious and balanced and connect with what’s in your own visual DNA.
